How to Get a Dinner Reservation at ‘Ohana: ADR Challenge, Nov. 2014

ADR Challenge: Dinner at ‘Ohana (flexible), 15 days notice: DONE in 8 hours, 1 minute

I’m having visitors later this month and wanted to treat them to the unique flavors and atmosphere of ‘Ohana for our party of 4. I’m hoping that we can get a time that lets us view Wishes well too.

I input this watch at 1:09AM EDT on October 29th.

After doing so, I went to sleep.

I was awoken at 9:10 AM EDT by this satisfactory notice that an ADR had been found:

(While this is a text message, an email was also sent.)

It’s a double bonus because that’s the perfect time for viewing Wishes from ‘Ohana’s beach overlook; just enough time to get seated and settled before the show starts, and don’t have to worry about it interrupting conversation as we get deeper into the meal.

Clicking the link above took me to Disney’s booking page, and before we knew it, the ADR was booked.

No constant refreshing of Disney’s site, no stress about whether or not I’d be able to get this difficult reservation on short notice. In 10 hours, one of the hardest-to-find ADRs was mine.

Since watches continue to search until they’re explicitly disabled by the user or until the last search date has passed, shortly after booking this I got another notice of available reservation:

However, as I was already supremely satisfied with my date and time, I opted to ignore this notification and logged in to disable my search.

How to use the new Documents feature

From the home page click on “Docs” found on the navigation bar at the top of the page

1

2

Once there click on the desired document

3

At this point you will be brought to a page displaying a preview of the document

4

From here you want to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Get Full Document” which will bring you here

5

Once you have accepted the terms you will have the option of either downloading the document without customizations6

Or customizing a stamp for a specific party (instructions on this below)

The first step in making a custom document is adding your custom logo (if desired you may use the default WDW logo)

Click “Choose file” in the add image section

7

Browse to your file and click “Open”

8

Once you have certified that you are legally entitled to use the image click “Upload Custom Image”

9

Now your custom image will appear as an option for logo printing. If you made a mistake, just click “Remove” to delete your picture and then redo the last step. Go ahead and select it now

10

Now that your image is saved and selected it is ready to be used.

Next we will show you how to create a custom party date and message to be printed on the document.

First you will want to give your custom document a title. I recommend something descriptive. The title is not printed on the document and only you will see it

11

Next click on the text box labeled “Event Date” to reveal a calendar and choose the date of the event. This box can be left blank to make a more generic document or for parties with multiple park dates.

12

Next you can enter a custom message to print on the bottom of the first page of the booklet.

13

Once you are done with that click on “Download with Customizations” at the bottom of your screen to save your custom stamped document

14

Once you have done that hit “Save” (This may take a few moments)

15

Open the document and there you go! Now you have a helpful guide to give to your clients with a personal feel.

Major pricing overhaul

We’ve just released a major pricing overhaul for WDWTools. There are now two great, cost-effective options to watch reservations through ADR Sniper.

By popular demand, an option for a one-time fee of $25 $10 per watch has been added.

Subscription access is still available to elite members. Elite memberships are on sale now at the rate of $99.99 per year, which is even cheaper than our current monthly subscription, and entitles you not only to unlimited ADR Sniper access (up to 5 days at once with base, or 10 days at once with the monthly extended watch product) but also to participation in members-only raffles and steep discounts and exclusive access on our other products, which will soon be released.

Only annual subscriptions will recur. One-time watches will never cause recurrence. To create a one-time watch, create an account and enter a watch. No credit card is needed to do this. You will be prompted for payment information when you choose to activate your watch.

This new pricing structure allows us to address new audiences and continue to expand rapidly, especially as we release new products in the near future.

Now Open!

WDWTools is officially accepting its first users! Only a few people will get in during open registration. Everyone else will need an invitation. If you miss the open registration window, ask your friends for an invite!
